Tara backpacking
This is seriously the cutest picture of Tara ever. We have been going on walks pretty frequently lately (which requires effort when you have to drive somewhere to walk - since there are no sidewalks where we live), and when we walk Tara carries our water and poop bags. She is absolutely freaking adorable.Labels: backpacking, collie

She's a doll!
I love Collies! My family had Collies while I was growing up. They're great dogs.
Tara is so adorable! Very considerate too for taking the load of items of your hands. :)

We have one of those back packs for our pup too. When she was younger and sooooo full of energy we put a bottle of water on each side and it helped her burn up some of that energy on our three mile daily walks. (She's a small cockapoo...) Now that she's older, she doesn't want to wear it.
That's great. And I'll bet that she, like so many dogs, just thrives on it. Because of the pack instinct, it's in a dog's nature to want to work for a living -- regardless of whether it's a "working breed" or not. Even carrying a backpack will do.
